Merit-Based Scholarships
High Academic Achievers
- Students with a GPA of 5.00 (excluding the 4th subject) in both SSC and HSC examinations are eligible for a 50% tuition fee waiver in their first semester.
- Students with 5 ‘A’s in ‘O’ Level (in one sitting) and 3 ‘A’s in ‘A’ Level are also eligible for a 50% tuition fee waiver in their first semester.
- Continuation of this waiver requires maintaining a CGPA of 3.75 or higher in subsequent semesters.
Semester-Based Academic Performance
- CGPA 3.70–3.79: 20% tuition fee waiver
- CGPA 3.80–3.89: 30% tuition fee waiver
- CGPA 3.90–3.99: 40% tuition fee waiver
- CGPA 4.00: 50% tuition fee waiver
Need-Based Scholarships
Children of Freedom Fighters and Students from Remote Areas
- A 100% tuition fee waiver is available in accordance with UGC policy, upon submission of necessary documents.
Siblings, Couples, and Tribal Students
- A 25% tuition fee waiver is offered to eligible students who maintain a CGPA of 3.00 or above.
Female Students
- A 10% tuition fee waiver is granted to all female students upon enrollment.
Children of MiUST Alumni
- A 10% tuition fee waiver is available for the children of MiUST alumni.
Scholarships for MiUST Faculty, Staff, and Their Children
- MiUST faculty members, officers, staff, and their children are eligible for a 50% tuition fee waiver, provided they meet the admission criteria.
- Children of support staff (e.g., office assistants, cleaners, guards) may receive up to a 100% tuition fee waiver at the discretion of the Chairman of MiUST.
Special Achievement Waivers
- National-level performers or students with exceptional achievements may receive a 50% tuition fee waiver. Eligibility requires passing all semester exams and maintaining documentation of achievements.

Application Process
- Students must apply for scholarships or tuition waivers within the specified timeframe.
- Applications should include:
- Completed scholarship application form
- Supporting documents (academic transcripts, certificates, and proof of eligibility)
Scholarship Discontinuation Policy
- Scholarships or waivers may be discontinued under the following conditions:
- Failing to maintain the required CGPA
- Dropping out of courses or semesters
- Retaking any course (full tuition fees apply)
- Disciplinary actions or probation status
- Failure to maintain a minimum of 70% attendance
